Colombiage presents: Singer and political activist Manu Chao is best known as the founder of the group Mano Negra.
Colombiage www.colombiage.com, the London based not-for-profit organization dedicated to celebrating Colombian Culture is proud to be working with this legendary musician in a one-night-only London show.
This fundraising event brings together Manu Chao’s passion for Colombia and the Brixton area, where Colombiage is based. Funds raised will help Colombiage to offer their very unique collage of contemporary Colombian arts while also helping other not for profit based initiatives in the Brixton area.
The evening will be complemented by the half-Brazilian, half-British SARAVAH SOUL, with their own special blend of Afro-Brazilian rhythms, 60′s soul and Afrobeat. They will be joined by Cal Jader (Movimientos) www.movimientos.org.uk & Russ Jones (Arriba La Cumbia) www.hackneyglobetrotter.com.
